Since this was a large project to tackle, I had to break the process down into smaller, more attainable goals. I started with researching the organization to learn what their goals, vision, and mission statement was. Once I understood what the organization was about, I next researched their audience to learn what their needs were and what they expected to get out of the organization. It was only after I gathered this information that I began to build a new site with features including a forum, calendar, and classifieds. After I created the new site, I wanted to troubleshoot and test the website so I sent out a link to a select group of people that included leaders and people both inside and outside the organization. With their critiques, I was able to fix the many flaws before the website launched.
